Build Your Work From Home Online Business With Zero Cost?
Is it possible to build a work from home online business with no cost? It definitely is. Many new online entrepreneurs give up after finding themselves having to spend a little fortune to keep their online businesses running. This article explores the ways to run your business with zero cost.
One of the ways I live by is writing and distributing articles. Write quality articles on your niche and distribute them to free article directories. I would strongly recommend Goarticles, Ideamarketers and Ezinearticles for this purpose. This is an effective way of creating backlinks to your website thus, pushing your website up the search engine ranking. Now if you have your own products or services, you must venture into this zero cost marketing.
Striking joint ventures with other product owners of the similar work from home online business niche. Clickbank is the first place you should be looking potential joint venture partners for. You will find hundreds of product owners in their market place. Then, start writng them joint venture proposal emails. Having a mailing list of your own here is an advantage in initiating cross promotions.
The secret to a successful JV is to subscribe to the potential JV partner’s newsletter. Read the newsletters and get an idea what kind of a person he is and the products that he promotes. After about two weeks, send him a joint venture proposition. Introduce yourself as his subscriber and how you enjoy reading his newsletters and that you have a product or service that you think would benefit both your businesses and suggest a JV.
Viral marketing is also a very effective and zero cost way of marketing your home online business. It has always been known as the online “word of mouth” marketing. All you need to do here is create ebooks to be distributed in pdf files. Download Openoffice’s free word processor software to help you with creating pdf files. Promote your website or products you are affiliated to in the ebook and include the rights for others to distribute it too. Why? The more times your ebook is being passed around the more exposure your business gets. Think about it. Can you see the power of viral marketing.
With the marketing tactics above, you don’t have to spend anything to market your work from home online business. Having said that, you definitely can speed up the response to your promotional efforts with the paid options however, you can always do that after you have made the money.

MSN PPC Advertising
MSN is launching its own PPC advertising program with new demographic and behavioral targeting features in France and Singapore in mid-late 2005.
MSN PPC Advertising Long-Awaited Debut Announced You probably already know that there are really only two major players in the world of PPC advertising: Overture and Google Adwords. By the end of 2005, there will likely be a third: Microsoft’s MSN Search.
Microsoft recently announced that it is launching its new MSN PPC advertising engine in Singapore and France by mid-late 2005. Smart marketers are probably already planning how they might justify advertising their products or services in Singapore to get a taste of the new service. The service’s introduction into Canada, the UK, and the US may very well come before the end of 2005.
The new MSN advertising program has been long awaited. MSN is Microsoft’s leading website property, and perhaps the web’s most visited “portal” (website with both search and content such as news) after Yahoo! MSN’s search engine accounts for one in five web searches, putting it in third place behind Google and Yahoo!
Search engine advertising mostly a two-player game Currently, MSN shows advertising that comes from Overture, the web’s largest online advertising network in terms of revenue. Overture was bought by Yahoo! a number of years ago. Since Yahoo! is the direct competitor of MSN in every way, plenty of people have been wondering why MSN didn’t take its advertising program in-house long ago. It seems especially strange considering that even Lycos, whose search engine now accounts for a small fraction of total web searches, has its own advertising network.
In many minds, the fact that Microsoft would go to Overture only demonstrated how excellent an online advertising program Overture was, and just how hard it really is to set one up. Before going to Overture, MSN was getting advertising from LookSmart, an advertising network that does not own any websites that compete with Microsoft properties in any big way. Even before it had lost its largest advertising outlet, LookSmart was widely seen as a subpar second-tier engine, in a category with FindWhat or even Kanoodle. The fact that LookSmart had seemingly squandered a chance to make inroads into an online advertising market dominated by two big players cast a lot of doubt on whether there would ever be a serious challenger to Google Adwords and Overture.
What Microsoft’s new advertising network means for the future Will the new MSN advertising network succeed where so many have failed? Or will it become a bloated, relatively uncompetitive product only supported by Microsoft’s vast bulk? (Not that Bill Gates has ever fathered such a bastard child.)
There’s a very good reason to believe that the new advertising program bears the seeds of its own destruction, thanks to a typically Microsoftian act of overreaching and obliviousness to public opinion. That bad seed is the same bad seed that has spoiled the fruits of so many internet marketing labors: behavioral and demographic targeting, which always seems to disagree with some people’s stomachs, no matter how delicately it is arranged in the bowl. (Editor’s note: too extended a metaphor? Well, website copywriters have egos, too, you know, just like the rest of the web dev. community. At least you didn’t have to sit through five minutes of flash animation to read this.)
Next: MSN PPC Advertising to Incorporate Demographic & Behavioral Targeting: Killer App. or Achilles Heel?
Microsoft’s press release announcing the new MSN advertising program is also worth reading if you’re that into this.

Ask Mr. D - ECommerce Sales
Dear Mr. D,
After spending about a year as an
affiliate for other companies, I have
come up with my own product.
My product is similar to one that I
was selling as an affiliate. I made
real good money selling this product
as an affiliate, but my product, which
I think is superior to that one, is not
selling hardly at all.
My price is the same and I am getting
a lot of traffic, but as I said, very few
sales. Can you please take a look at
my website and see if I have a problem
there? Something is wrong.
Signed,
No Sales

Dear No Sales,
There is an old adage in sales, don’t
sell the steak - sell the sizzle.
Your site does a good job of describing
your product. That is what’s meant by
selling the steak. But, it falls short on
selling the benefits a buyer will gain
by using your product. That is called
selling the sizzle.
People are not interested in your product
or service per se, they are only interested
in what the product or service will do for
them. How will they benefit from using your
product or service.
You need to rewrite your sales copy to
let your visitors know how they will benefit
from buying and using your product. Paint
them a verbal picture of how they will be
better off once they have that product.
You said you had done well selling this
type of product as an affiliate. I suggest
you take a look at that website to see
how they do it. I’m not suggesting you
copy their site, but just get a few ideas.
I wish you the best.
Signed,
Mr. D

Internet Marketing Methods To Avoid
What you are about to read could save you months, if not years trying to figure out for yourself what works and what doesnt work with Internet Marketing.
Ive been marketing on the Internet for years and part of that time was spent spinning my wheels trying to market using ineffective and inefficient methods. After reading this article, youll be able to avoid the mistakes I made and move on to methods that actually work.
Number 1, Reciprocal Link Exchanges
The concept of Reciprocal Link Exchanges is a very good one, but because of abuse its become a waste of time. For example, when you link to a third party website they in turn link to your site, being a win win situation for both parties. Now because of the Search Engines low regard for Reciprocal Links and high regard for one way links, what is now happening is that the Reciprocal Link partner is on many occasions removing your link weeks down the track in order to get a one way link at your expense.
Number 2, Traffic Exchanges
Traffic Exchanges are more of a gimmick than a marketing method. The way they work is that you view other web sites and are awarded credits that are used to get other people to view your web site. For example, say you surf for one hour and view 120 web sites this could give you 60 page views of your site.
The main problem is that theyre not actually visitors looking at your site, they tend to be other Internet Marketers using tabbed browsing to go from one site to the next every few seconds in order to gain page views for their own website; making the whole exercise pointless.
Number 3, Safe Lists
A Safe List is a group of people who agree to receive other members email promotions in exchange for being able to submit their own ads. You usually use two email addresses, one for administrative contact and the other a throw away email address where all the other members promotions are sent to. Almost no one reads the email promotions sent to the throw away email address but everyone wants to send their email to the Safe List.
So what we have is everyone trying to sell their products or services to members of the Safe List, but no one reading the emails, because theyre not interested in purchasing products or services, theyre only interested in marketing their own goods. Do you see how pointless this is?
Number 4, Save Your Money, Dont Buy Article Spinners
There is Software on the market that helps you transform an existing article into an original article, usually by replacing key words or phrases to others of your choice.
For the most part this Article Spinner Software makes the articles appear to be written by someone from a non english speaking background. The article is not likely to be approved by the admin of Article Directories and even if they are approved, people are unlikely to follow the resource links for more information.
Do yourself a favour and manually write quality, original articles for submission to Article Directories and Ezine Publishers.
Number 5, Free Banner Exchanges
Free Banner Exchanges, as opposed to Paid Banner Exchanges are pretty much useless.
There are three main reasons for this, one is that free Banner Exchanges are almost always placed on untargetted websites not related to the Banner; the second problem is that theyre almost always placed below the fold and are not seen by Website visitors and the third reason is most network members of free Banner Exchanges tend to have no visitors to their websites which means almost no one will see your Banner Ad.
Number 6, Mass Submission Software
Submitting to hundreds or thousands of free Search Engines and Classified Sites can be very tempting, but if no one visits those obscure classifieds or search engines then you wont get any visitors to your Site. So dont bother with the Mass Submission Software and only concentrate on the high traffic sites, such as Craigs List, Google, Yahoo and Msn.
Number 7, Only Make Legitimate Comments On Blogs, Guestbooks and Forums
This is similar to the point above, if you intend to promote your Site using Blogs, Guestbooks or Forums; avoid using the mass promotion software for these types of sites because all it will do is make you look like a spammer and your comments will quickly be deleted.
Now you know some of the worst Internet Marketing Time Wasters and how to avoid them. You also know what not to spend your money on such as the Mass Submission Software or Web Based Services that will not help with your Website promotion.
Ive spent years learning what to do and what not to do when it comes to Internet Marketing and this article will hopefully steer you away from what to avoid in future.

How to get rid of multi level marketing mistakes
How to get rid of multi level marketing mistakesNetworking facilitates the linking of various people. As those people become more familiar with each other, they learn their diverse strengths. Networking seeks to maximize the use of those strengths, thereby encouraging an optimization of the human resources available to any company or institution. In multi-level networking, the linking of various people takes place on distinct and separate levels. Multi-level networking has become a favored technique among sales groups, especially sales groups that employ multi-level marketing techniques. Multi-level marketing creates a hierarchy of sales people. Those at the top of that hierarchy are those who were the first to strike out on their own. They were also the first to make use of the methods called-for in multi-level networking. In multi-level marketing each of the salespeople has two goals. One goal relates to sales figures. The salespeople aspire to sell a profitable amount of a given product. Yet those same salespeople also have a second goal, one that relates to the networking abilities. By employing the techniques of multi-level networking, each salesperson is encouraged to recruit more sales people. Under the rules of multi-level marketing, a portion of the sales from each new recruit goes to the person who recruited him (or her). Because a salesperson interacts with so many customers, they too are given incentives to become part of the growing sales network. A system that relies on multi-level networking needs to develop as many rewards as possible for those who do network constantly with others. Salespeople often receive added incentive to network with customers. They frequently have a special offer that they can give customers. In a sales system based on multilevel marketing, each customer must be viewed as a potential new member of the sales force. Each new customer might thus be told the he (or she) will enjoy a price reduction on the available product, if that same customer can turn around and recruit more salespeople. .Any sales system that relies heavily on the use of networking can easily morph into a pyramid system. Each group of networked salespeople represents a unique pyramid. The salesperson who took the first networking moves sits at the top of each pyramid. In such a pyramid system, not much attention is paid to the quality of the product that is being sold. That is the weakness in the pyramid system. The product itself does not generate a great deal of income, only the contacts achieved by networking bring a real reward to each salesperson. Consider then what could happen if some one low down on the pyramid suddenly ceased to make efforts to network with others. Consider what would happen if those lower down on the pyramid suddenly quit selling the single offered product. That would cut-off the income going to those at the top of the pyramid. That then is the danger to which salespeople are exposed, if they choose to enter a system based on multi-level marketing. If exercised to the extreme, there comes a point at which the structure created by multi-level networking no longer works as well as it once did. Marketing, LSI; What Latent Semantic Indexing Means For Your Website
I would like to simplify Latent Semantic Indexing (LSI). LSI is an anti-spam algorithm. Instead of linking in all of the scholarly papers from those whose job with Google and other companies is to fight spam; I’m going to give you the down and dirty truth of what LSI is and why it is important to not just Google but all Internet entrepreneurs. First, Id like to state that there has not been any published laymens standards for LSI. My self and others have researched numerous interviews from Matt Cutts. Matt Cutts joined Google in January of 2000 and is now head of Googles Webspam team. You can visit Matts blog at Mattcutts.com/blog/ for up-to-date information on how Google is fighting spam.
Since you’re reading about LSI and its is not a common phrase I’m going to assume you’re familiar with Google’s search engine as well as search engine marketing and products such as Google Adwords and Adsense which continue to be a lucrative business opportunities for millions of online entrepreneurs.
Rather than providing quality content some webmasters initially found that spam would get them ranked high in the search engines index which allowed them to earn enormous amounts of pay per click advertising cash. Spam made it hard for websites that offered information of value to compete with those that catered to what search engine algorithms thought at the time was quality content. This spawned more spammers and outraged those that use search engines.
LSI ensures a websites’ content is of value to the online community rather than just repeating a highly searched word or phrase. Google devoted resources to update the Googlebot algorithm to make a distinction between quality and a spammy website. The words used in conjunction with (semantics or synonyms) a keyword or phrase is in part what search engines look for to determine how beneficial a website’s content is.
Latent Semantic Indexing. Google’s Adwords and Adsence business model is great because when it works correctly everyone gets paid. If you do a search on “Alligator shoes that is what you want information on not a site that has the phrase “alligator shoes” in every sentence.
When the search engine returns information from its index that you are satisfied, you go to that website. Said website may give you some insight as to the different styles, type, and origin of the material of the shoe (content of value) but they may not sell shoes so; from that website, you click on an advertisement link to an eStore that sells the shoe and you make a purchase.
Easy as 1-2-3 .
1. The Webmaster gets paid when you click on an advertisement link while on their website.
2. Google gets paid from the “Advertised site”.
3. The Advertised site is paid when you make a purchase. LSI is here to ensure everyone gets what he or she want when using a search engine it does not ensure everyone who clicks on an advertisement will make a purchase. In addition, it does not ensure you high page ranking, there are many other factors that contribute to high page rank. Since search, engines are one way to get a large amount of traffic it is to your Internet businesses best interest to ensure your content is not viewed as spammy.
Although some websites have slipped through the cracks, LSI makes the search engine marketing playing field more leveled. It is important that you start or rebuild your website with themed content using LSI. Themed content: Stick with what your website is about. It is important that search engine robots do not get confused when they visit your website for indexing. Spammy website: over indulgence in keywords or phrases will not come across as quality content.
LSI: use synonymic or semantic terms in your content (terms that are relevant to eachother).
An easy method to determine what content search engine robots consider quality, do a search. The information returned on the right is what you should model (not plagiarize) your sites content after.
Following the best is a good practice.
LSI separates spammy websites from those of quality. LSI is not a myth. Quality content and organic search engine optimization is the cheapest way to achieving higher page rank.
Individuals that do not make or convert their website content within LSI standards will see a slow drop in their search engine ranking and new websites may not be ranked at all. The key to Internet Marketing Success
A niche market is defined as a focused and targetable portion of a market in which a specific product or service need is being addressed. The problem with niche markets is finding them, but the reward is worth the effort.
A good, untapped niche is generally all that lies between an Internet marketer and an Internet millionaire. The world is full of niche marketing success stories, yet the untapped opportunities stretch as far and wide as the Internet itself.
Success stories range from giants like the Friendfinder Network to small-timers like your Aunt Polly, who’s been selling homemade dreamcatchers on eBay at nice profits for a few years now.
Friendfinder’s example is as good as any because it illustrates how a good niche just sometimes lands in our laps. When FriendFinder launched back in 1996, it was one of the first subscription-based social networking sites for adults that didn’t feature “adult” content, if you know what I mean.
What Friendfinder did was really remarkable. Rather than putting all of its eggs in one basket, it protected its niche by reaching out with niche sites. Rather than addressing a very large subscription base with a single message, the network launched a series of sites that can each address a specific niche within its niche. In this way, Friendfinder is able to hold its own amid such hefty competition as MatchMaker.com and Match.com.
Finding a niche is something you can do, too. By following a series of important steps (and not skipping ahead), you will soon find your very own niche.
Do your homework:
The key to finding a great untapped niche is research. You have to know where to look and what tools to use for the search. Start by brainstorming ideas. Try to think of things you are passionate about but don’t really see online too often. Once you have a list of possible niche markets, it’s time to do your homework. Remember - a niche is very specific. Dogs is not specific. Basset Hounds is more focused. Products or services that appeal to working professionals who own basset hounds (such as doggie day care) is better still.
Research the competition:
Do a Google and Yahoo! search for the items that would fit into your niche. How many sites are involved? How many are relevant to your niche? If there are a lot, can the niche be narrowed to such an extent that there is no competition? Are there a lot of paid advertisements that already compete for the same ad space you’d expect to have? A good niche is like a good camp site - it should be inviting but not too crowded. Look for peace and quiet, then lay down your stakes and make camp.
Determine potential profitability:
So, you think you have an untapped niche? Remembering that your ultimate goal is to make money, it is time to determine the potential profits that await you if you pursue your chosen niche. How much does the product or service cost? Is the price comparable to similar products or services? If not, consider whether the price is reasonable.
Remember, you have to sell the stuff. Can the product or service be sold in bulk quantities? In other words, are you going to encounter a supply problem when sales really start to pour in? Is there a limit to how much can be sold? Next, identify potential customers. Pull any available data about sales in this niche, or comparable niches.
How many sales can you reasonably expect? Go a step further. Ascertain the cost of doing business in this niche. How much will it cost to spend to advertise in niche publications? How much will it cost to be competitive with paid search bidding? Weigh potential gains against expenses and try to get a clear picture of the financial future that awaits you in this niche. Now, you have a decision to make.
Learn about tools and techniques that lead to profitability:
The math you’ve just been doing may discourage you, and it’s important to consider the financial picture as it comes into focus, but remember that with good marketing, you can often change the tide. Don’t forget to factor in the potential marketing push that can lead to increased sales and profitability! The Internet is full of tools that can assist the resourceful e-commerce entrepreneur. The key is learning where to find them and how to use them.
Keyword research tools can help you build successful search engine marketing strategies that boost your site’s visibility - and its profitability. Webmaster tools can provide the technical support you need to build a site that functions properly whether your audience is a potential customer or a search engine spider. Datafeed tools can help you create online stores in a matter of minutes.
Tools exist, and it’s up to you to use them. Put all of the resources of the Internet behind you.
Make the niche yours…
Above all else, the niche you choose must be something that arouses passion in you. If you don’t care about the product or service you’re promoting, that will show in everything you do. Believe in what you’re doing, and all good things will come from that.

Powerful Article Marketing Tips
If you have submitted your articles to EzineArticles.com you have made a wise choice. Out of all the ezines that I am aware of, this particular one is the most active and well maintained site. No doubt featuring your articles here will get you noticed. You can ratchet everything up a notch by taking some additional steps to promote your good works. Most of the articles that I have penned have been viewed at least 100 times each. One of my articles, 99 High Paying Keywords: The Secret is Out!, is about to surpass 1000 page views. I cannot even begin to tell you how much the nearly 80 articles posted by me have helped me get the attention I need in order to adequately market my product: me! Without posting to this site, a lot of my newer contacts would remain unknown to me. In retrospect, I would consider that to be a tremendous loss! Beyond placing articles here, the following steps have helped me tremendously. They can help you too! 1. Send URLs for select articles to those who might find them interesting. For example, a review I wrote on a local railroad museum was forwarded by me with a note to five members of the museum’s board. I received back the nicest response from one member who thanked me for bringing attention to their organization. You can generate goodwill — and additional business — by sharing favorable articles directly with those whom you write about. 2. Discuss the article on related forums. Christopher Knight personally gave me a “big thumbs up” over my “99 High Paying Keywords” article and that gesture alone has brought me some very good attention. However, when I shared links to the article on a pair of SEO sites, the page views took off. Consider joining forums or sharing on existing forums you are a member of your expertise. If you post, they will click! 3. Link back to EzineArticles.com. Whether you have a website or include it within your signature, you can promote EzineArticles.com by making mention of their service to you. Several people have known that I was a writer; I received “added prestige” when they saw that I was published and syndicated through Christopher Knight’s site. 4. Contact publishers directly. If someone is publishing your articles, alert them the next time an article is published by EzineArticles.com. Everyone likes fresh material and the publisher will like the custom service you provide by your direct contact. All in all, the more you publish the more your name will “get out there” as an expert in your chosen field[s]. You can take everything a step further by actively marketing your articles to the appropriate people. You will help yourself, EzineArticles.com, and other authors. So, how does “that” maxim go? Oh, yes: a rising tide lifts all boats.
Internet Marketing Agency India
Trends have shown that more of the sales that result from search engines originated in organic search listings. Organic search engine optimization India is maximizing the visibility of a web site by enhancing listings appear more prominently in organic search results. It’s a process by which internet users find website without paying to search engines. While a pay-per-click campaign may produce results more quickly than an organic search engine optimization campaign, organic search engine optimization campaigns can give you results that last.
Organic search engine results tend to be seen as non-biased, and they therefore are able to provide visitors that are more valuable. An organic search result is end product of search engine optimization techniques applied to a website. There are a host of factors to bring your websites on top for your keywords. Organic SEO demands deep competitive analysis, keywords research, links relevancy, titles, and Meta tags, content, the list is endless. Search engines keep updating their algorithms, so there is a need to keep the pace too.
Search engines are always working towards improving their technology to crawl the web more deeply and return increasingly relevant results to users. However, there is and will always be a limit to how search engines can function. Whereas the right moves can net you thousands of visitors and attention, the wrong moves can hide or hide your site deep in the search results where visibility is negligible.
Once the web site starts to get visitors, the number of hits starts to rise. And search engines believe that if a site has more traffic, it must be relevant and valuable. This further improves the SERP ranking of the site. A better ranking definitely means better business.
